Revel: Solve Issues

Solution

Invalid PLU: one or more items in the order has a PLU that doesn't belong to this location's POS.

Sync your products and publish your menu again. If a menu is shared across locations, make sure all items exist at every location using it.

X is a variant, but the order does not contain a variation sub item.

Edit the variant and make sure it has active sub-items — check that they aren't all snoozed.

Establishment is required.

You need an active Revel Partner Connect subscription to use the API. Contact Revel to get this enabled on your account.

Customer address is required for delivery orders / Address is out of delivery area.

Set your Delivery Dining Option to “Online Ordering” in Revel. If you need a custom option instead, configure it in Revel so it doesn't require address details channels may not send.

X is not available for selected time / Revel [store] is closed.

Check your custom menu's opening hours and holiday settings in Revel, and make sure the menu's mode/station is set correctly.

Modifier is not found or inactive / Product is not found or inactive.

Re-enable the item or modifier in Revel, and confirm it's added to your menu in “Online” mode. Contact Revel support if you need help locating the setting.

INCORRECT_PRODUCT_PRICE. Expected price for item X is Y.

Price overrides aren't enabled in Revel. Contact Revel support to enable price overrides for your account.

Dynamic discount with barcode not found or amount mismatch.

Check the discount configuration in Revel — the discount must have Variable Discount enabled and the barcode must match what's set in your channel settings.

POS is not reachable.

Check that your location has an internet connection. If it's online and the issue continues, contact Revel support.

TooManyPOSRequestsError: POS REVEL requests rate limit reached.

You've hit Revel's daily API call limit. Contact Revel support and ask them to increase your rate limit.
