Add a Kitchen Name to a Product

The product names you display to your customers may not be ideal or helpful for your kitchen staff. To remedy this, set a kitchen name. The name you enter is only shown on kitchen tickets or a KDS.

The Kitchen name field is present in the General section when creating or editing a product. To learn how to edit products, read this article.

If you use the Delivery Manager App, you can set whether or not to use kitchen names on tickets by editing your tablet profile. Go here to learn more about editing tablet profiles.

Note: this option is only available for customers using the DMA and is not available for customers who are only using a POS.
