Manage Your Tablets (Profiles and Devices)

The Tablets page provides all devices linked to your account and the ability to customize profiles.

The page is split into two tabs: Profiles and Devices.

To access the page, go to Settings and then Tablets in your sidebar.

Profiles

Create profiles to define settings to use across all tablets for a location. To create one, select the + Create Profile button.

General

  • Name: Enter a name to easily identify the profile.

  • Description (optional): Describe the profile.

  • Link to Location: Choose which location to use for the profile. It is only possible to choose a single location.

Settings

Enable or customize each setting to your needs. Each setting can be configured to be managed by users (Adjustable by the user column) and can override existing settings on tablets (Apply the changes column).

Orders

  • Show order item price: If enabled, item prices will be displayed on DMA.

  • Automatically accept the orders: If enabled, orders will be accepted without any interaction on DMA.

  • Automatically finalize orders: If enabled, orders will be automatically finalized and moved to the Finished section.

  • Allow canceling orders: If enabled, users can cancel orders.

  • Display courier name: If enabled, the name of the courier delivering an order is shown.

  • Enable passcode: If enabled, a passcode is required to access the app.

  • Allow setting red busy mode (open/close capability) from the DMA: If enabled, users can open and close the location.

  • Allow setting orange busy mode (delay preparation time) from the DMA: If enabled, users can enable busy mode for a channel/location.

  • Default preparation time: Set the preparation time to be used for orders.

  • Sound duration: Choose how long the sound alerts play.

  • Poll orders after every specific amount of time: Set how often orders should be retrieved (in minutes). Useful if you routinely have connection issues.

  • New order sounds audio name: Choose the notification sound to use.

  • Order flow: Select Adjust to specify how orders will progress. Each step can be activated/deactivated.

Snooze

  • Allow indefinite snoozing: If enabled, users can snooze products indefinitely.

  • Snoozing: only show products from the selected menu

  • Snooze view: Choose the allowed views on the Snooze page (Menu and List, Menu, or List).

  • Enable item snoozing: If enabled, items are allowed to be snoozed.

Printing

  • Printing: If enabled, printing will be allowed.

  • Automatically print order tickets: If enabled, orders will be printed instantly once received.

  • Print order ticket when: Choose at what point to print the order ticket (received, accepted, or delivered).

  • Print driver updates: If activated, driver updates will be instantly printed once received (not supported by all channels).

  • Bag/kitchen ticket settings

    • Font size: Increase or decrease the font size.

    • Number of tickets to print: Choose how many tickets you want to be printed for each order.

    • Use kitchen name: Choose to use the kitchen name of your products instead of the default name. Learn more.

    • Print menu logo: Show the menu's logo on the ticket (bag ticket only). Learn how to add or change a menu's logo.

    • Item checkbox: Show a square before each item so they can be easily checked off when bagged (bag ticket only).

    • Merge items: Show identical items on one line by merging them (kitchen ticket only).

  • Print 'Add cutlery' as a separate line item: If activated, 'Add cutlery' will display as a line item instead of in the order notes.

  • Print QR code: Set up a QR code to show on your receipts. Learn more.

Notification

  • Driver update threshold: Choose when to be notified of a driver update time change.

  • Notify about internet connection issues: If enabled, a notification sound will play if the DMA connection is unstable.

Edit a profile

To change the settings of a profile, select the edit icon. The settings explained above are available to adjust.

Devices

All tablets that have logged into your account are listed here. You can see the following information:

  • Name: This is the name used on the device which is set at the operating system level of the device.

  • Device ID: A unique ID assigned to the device.

  • Location: The location used for the device.

  • Model: The model name and number of the device.

  • OS: The operating system used by the device.

  • Version: The version of DMA used on the device.

  • Status: If the device is online or offline.

Choose a location using a filter at the top of the page to narrow down the results based on that location. Use the search box to find a specific device.

Selecting the table button at the top right changes how tablets are displayed.

In this view, each tablet is displayed inside a card. The same information is provided in both views.
