Individual steps

Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and select Products in the sidebar.

Step 3. Choose Product.

Step 4. Enter details for the new product. Fields marked with an * are required.

General

  • Name*: Enter the name of the product (e.g. Salad).

  • PLU*: Created automatically after saving, but you can enter something specific if required.

  • Image: Select to add an image. This will be shown on your menu(s).

  • Description: Provide some additional information about your product (e.g. Delicious fresh salad with homemade croutons).

  • Base Price*: Enter the standard price for the product.

  • Bottle deposit price: If applicable (for beverages and depending on state/country), enter the required price for recycling/deposit.

  • Delivery Tax*: Enter the tax for the product when being delivered.

  • Takeaway Tax: Enter the tax for the product when being picked up.

  • Eat In Tax: Enter the tax for the product when the customer eats in.

Step 5. Select the Create button. Add any additional information and modifiers/upsells to the product.

- Change the status of the product. Setting this to inactive will remove your product from sale.

- Add product specifications. These include tags, allergens, nutritional values, and more. View this article for all possibilities.

- Check if this product is not a physical item. This is useful if the item does not need to be counted when individually packed (only relevant for the Delivery Manager App and not available to all customers). Contact our support team for more details.

- Set a maximum order limit for this product. Doing so prevents your customers from creating an order with a larger quantity of this product than what you specify.

- Add existing modifier groups or create one.

- Add existing upsell groups or create one.
