Need to make changes to an existing menu? Follow the instructions in this article to learn how.
After making changes, don't forget to save the menu and publish it to your channels.
Open the menu
Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and select 
Menus in the sidebar.
Step 2. Select the menu you wish to edit.
Below you will find instructions on how to do the following:
Add new categories
Step 1. In the sidebar, select Add category.
Step 2. Give your category a name and optionally a description and an image. Select the Create button once ready. When adding a description, ensure it is clear and descriptive to help customers understand the category's content.
Add items
Step 1. Select the Add item button inside a category.
Step 2. Select the products to add to the category. The search bar at the top right allows you to find products by name or PLU. You can also choose from the categories in the sidebar. Select the Add products button at the bottom to finish.
Not able to find an item?
If you use a POS, ensure the item is present and active on the POS. Then, sync your products to Deliverect. Additionally, ensure categories and items have been correctly synced from your POS, particularly checking for formatting issues in the POS system inputs.
Rearrange items
In the sidebar, select and drag the item to the desired location.
Edit items
Step 1. Select the edit icon next to an item.
Step 2. Make any necessary changes to the item and select the Save changes button.
Disable or remove items
Step 1. Select the ⫶ icon for the item.
Step 2. Choose to disable or remove the product:
Disable product: The item won't be shown to customers. You can undo this by selecting the ⫶ icon again and choosing Enable product.
Remove product: The item is fully removed from the menu.
Edit modifiers and modifier groups
Step 1. On the edit page for an item, scroll down until you find the modifier group. Select the dropdown icon to expand.
Step 2. To make changes to the entire group, select the ⫶ icon to the far right of its name.
You can also make changes to a specific modifier by selecting its ⫶ icon.
