Change when your menus are available on your delivery channels using the Opening hours functionality.
How to access
Step 1. In the sidebar, select
Locations
and then Opening hours
.
Step 2. Select the location you want to change.
Set opening hours
At the top of the page, three tabs are available.
Business hours: Define when your business is open
Delivery: Define when your business accepts orders for delivery
Pickup: Define when your business accepts orders for pickup
Activate the toggle for a day of the week
and enter the opening and closing hours
. You can select the + icon to add additional hours if you have a break in service.
You can set the Same as business hours toggle in the Delivery and Pickup tabs if you don't want to use different opening hours for those order types.
Duplicate hours to other days
Select the
duplicate icon. Choose the days and then select Duplicate.
Delete opening hours
Select the
trash icon to remove one set of opening hours for a day.
Saving changes
Select the Save button once you have configured each day.
Copy opening hours to other locations
Step 1. You can use the opening hours from one location for other locations by selecting the Apply these opening hours to other locations link at the bottom of the page.
Step 2. Select the locations and then the Apply opening hours button.
Configure opening hours for multiple locations or specific stores
Specify the locations, channels, and custom tags to create multiple opening hours.
This is only available for customers managing a large number of locations.
Step 1. Select the Add opening hours button.
Step 2. Choose the locations, stores, and store custom tags to use.
Select the days you are open and add the opening and closing hours. If there is a break in service during the day, add additional opening and closing hours. Selecting the
Duplicate button will copy the hours to the day below.
Step 3. Select the Save button once finished.
The way your opening hours are updated depends on your channel:
Direct update: For some channels, your new hours are updated instantly without needing to publish your menu. You can confirm this by checking your Operation reports page for an action labeled "Update store opening hours". If this isn't shown, you'll need to publish your menu manually to apply the changes.
Menu publish: For most channels, updating your hours requires a menu publish. After you save your new hours, the system will automatically publish your menu. You can confirm this by checking your Operation reports page for an action labeled "Menu publish".
Pending menu changes: If you have pending menu changes, you'll need to manually publish the menu by selecting Save hours and publish your menu in the pop-up. To avoid publishing those changes, you can duplicate the menu, save it, and republish the original menu with just the updated hours.
You only need permission to edit opening hours for this to work; menu publishing permissions are not required.
