Error or issue

Solution

Invalid order while parsing (NotSupported: Item Type not supported S).

One or more items in the order are set up in the POS as a “size” type item. Change the item type in your POS so it is not configured as a size, then try again.

Deliverect total does not match Visual Touch total (POS total shows 0.0).

This means the POS did not process payment info correctly during validation. Contact Visual Touch support so they can review and correct this on their end.

Deliverect total does not match Visual Touch total (non-zero totals that don't match).

This is usually caused by a mismatch between tax settings in the POS and your location settings, or small rounding differences in how totals are calculated. Check that your POS tax settings match your location settings. If the issue persists, contact our support team.

Create order status failure: “X is currently not available. Please remove this item from your shopping cart.”

The item in the order no longer exists in your POS database. Sync your products and publish your menu again to make sure only items that exist in your POS are included.

Create order status failure: Unexpected Server Error.

This is usually caused by an item in the order that was deleted from your POS. Check that the products in the failed order still exist in your POS, then contact Visual Touch support if the error continues.

Visual Touch POS is reachable but takes too long to respond.

This usually happens when Visual Touch's servers are under heavy load, especially during holidays or high-volume periods. Contact Visual Touch support to review server capacity. Orders affected by this may still reach your kitchen display system and be prepared as normal.

Item(s) not showing or linked inside a Variant product.

Items configured as a “size” type in the POS are not currently supported when linking products to variants; only modifier group items are supported. Avoid using size-type items for products you plan to link as variants.
