PAR PixelPoint: Solve Issues

Error or issue

Solution

POSNotReachable: [Errno 111] Connection refused / POSNotReachable: timed out / RetryableError: Retry call with unexpected POS response.

This means we can't reach your POS. Contact your PixelPoint reseller or support to check your connectivity, which may include rebooting the machine the EOI (External Order Interface) is installed on. Contact our support team if the issue persists.

Invalid PLU: [PLU number].

One or more items in the order has a PLU that doesn't belong to this location's POS. Sync your products every time you make a change in the POS, and publish these changes to your online stores.

Invalid Delivery PLU.

You're attempting to send a delivery charge to the POS without a PLU configured in the channel settings. Create a delivery product in your POS back office, then sync and set it in your channel settings.

X is a variant, but the order does not contain a variation sub item.

Your variant is missing sub-items. Check the variant configuration and make sure none of the underlying items are snoozed, which would leave the top-level item empty.

POS doesn't support internal products.

This item is an internal (Deliverect-built) item rather than a POS item — likely a meal deal with no sub-items. Delete it from your menu and replace it with a valid POS version.

XMLSyntaxError: Document is empty / Invalid Open Date - the system is off hours.

Your EOI (External Order Interface) is offline. Contact your PixelPoint support or reseller to have the EOI configured to power on automatically with the system.

Primary key for table 'Member' is not unique.

This is a duplicate key issue on the POS side. Contact your PixelPoint support or reseller and ask them to delete the current database of member code/key table entries.

Item: X is not valid Answer ID.

The item no longer belongs to the modifier “answer” it was originally set up with. Sync your products as soon as possible to realign PixelPoint and Deliverect.

[PixelPoint POS] - Order X: difference 0.5 dollars is bigger than expected.

The order or item price in Deliverect differs from what PixelPoint calculated. Enable price overrides in your location settings, or increase the maximum rounding difference allowed.

Online store name or Order ID not printing on the PixelPoint receipt.

By default PixelPoint doesn't print the online store name or order ID on the chit. Update your POS settings to enable this, or contact your PixelPoint support or reseller for help.

Order or item notes not printing or showing on the receipt.

PixelPoint doesn't natively support order or item notes. Create $0 items in your POS to use for note mapping, then contact our support team once created so we can configure this for you.

Discounts not processing.

No coupon is set. Make sure “Send discounts” is enabled and a value is set in the “PixelPoint Coupon” channel setting.

Items, sales types, payment types, or coupons not showing up when syncing.

Any time you make changes to items or settings in PixelPoint, restart the EOI (External Order Interface) before running a product sync in Deliverect — otherwise the changes won't be picked up.
