Customize a Menu for a Location, Channel, Custom Tag, or Order Type

You can customize fields to make changes to specific locations, channels, custom tags, and order types.

The customizable fields include prices, taxes, visibility status, names, descriptions, categories, and images.

To get started, log in to your Deliverect account and select Menus in the sidebar. Select the menu that you want to customize.

Customize an item

Step 1. Select the item.


Step 2. Select the toggle icon and choose the + Create option for the field you want to customize . Existing customizations are also selectable.


Step 3. Configure the custom field.

Enter a name and select the Add rule button to filter on:

  • Locations

  • Location groups

  • Channels

  • Custom tag

  • Order type (currently only available for Deliveroo and DoorDash)

You can add a color to the custom field to make it easily identifiable in your menus.

To view the included stores, select Show the stores.... Select the Save button to create the custom field.


Step 4. Enter the value you want to use. Repeat this process for any additional fields you want to edit for this item. Multiple customizations can be created for one field.

Select the Save changes button to confirm.


Customize a category

Step 1. Hover over the category, select the button , and choose Edit category .


Step 2. Select the button for the field you want to customize and select + Create .

Enter a name and select the Add rule button to filter on:

  • Location

  • Location group

  • Channel

  • Custom tag

  • Order type (currently only available for Deliveroo and DoorDash)

You can add a color to the custom field to make it easily identifiable in your menus.

To view the included stores, select Show the stores....

Select the Save button to create the custom field.


Step 3. Enter the value you want to use and select the Save changes button.

Step 1. Select your menu's name and description.


Step 2. Select the button for the field or image you want to customize and select + Create .

Step 4. Enter the value you want to use and select the Save changes button.
