Your customers choose an order slot when placing orders to be fulfilled at a later time. On the Ordering slots page, you can adjust the configuration and duration of the slots. You can also set overrides for specific locations.
Log in to Direct Suite. In the sidebar, select Online Ordering and then Ordering slots.
You can adjust the default ordering slots and add location overrides.
Default ordering slots
The following settings can be changed for each order type:
Accept pre-orders: Activate to turn on the ordering slots functionality.
Accept same day orders: Activate to allow customers to place orders for the same day.
Accept ASAP orders: Activate to allow customers to place orders for immediate preparation.
Slot length: Choose the size of the time window customers can pick when scheduling a pre-order. For example, if you set it to 30 minutes, customers will see slots like 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm, then 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and so on.
Minimum lead time: Enter a time to prevent an order from entering the current or an upcoming slot.
Maximum days in advance: Choose how far ahead customers can place an order.
Location overrides
Select the + Add location override button.
Choose which locations you want to override and select the Next button.
Adjust the ordering slots for the locations and select the Save button.
