Order throttling allows you to adjust the preparation time for orders based on different criteria.
This functionality is not currently available for all customers.
Create a strategy
Step 1. Log in to 
Deliverect Restaurants. In the sidebar, select 
Orders 
and then Order management 
.
Step 2. Select the Order throttling tab.
Step 3. Select the Create strategy button.
Step 4. Create the strategy by completing the fields.
General
Title: Enter a title for this strategy.
Item prep time: Activate if you want to include item-level preparation times in the total preparation time. View this article to learn how to configure this for a product.
Dynamic preparation times
Activate the toggle to extend order preparation times after reaching a defined order threshold for a time window.
Time window: Set the time window in minutes.
Orders per time window: Set the threshold limit for the time window.
Scheduled prep times
Activate to schedule custom preparation times throughout the week.
Toggle on days of the week to set custom preparation times. Specify when it should be active and the preparation time in minutes.
Locations
Select the Assign locations button and choose which locations or location groups should use this strategy. Select Save to confirm.
Step 5. Select the Create button to finish setting up your strategy.
Make changes to a strategy
On the Order throttling tab, select the ⫶ icon for the strategy. You can perform the following actions:
Edit
Duplicate
Delete
