You can adjust the settings of an Grubhub channel.
Editing channel settings is only possible with the user role Edit store settings. If your user role does not include this, contact an Administrator user in your account and ask them to provide you access. Learn how to change user roles.
Follow the steps in this article to access the settings page of your Grubhub channel.
The following settings are available inside the Grubhub channel settings section.
Menu
Resize images
Activate to allow Deliverect to resize item images that do not fit within Grubhub's image dimensions by adding a white background.
If you leave this setting inactive, ensure your menu images follow Grubhub's image guidelines.
Order
Fixed cost %
Input your Grubhub fixed cost % so that your Deliverect analytics account for these amounts. This information is not sent to your POS, and is used solely for order total calculations in Deliverect Restaurants’ analytics.
Use store item names
Activate this setting to display the item names visible on Grubhub (if they have been manually modified on your Deliverect menu) on the Orders page and the DMA screen and printouts (if you use the DMA).
The default behavior is to display the item’s names as they sync from your POS.
This is only applicable for Deliverect Restaurants and DMA. If you use a POS, your POS will use its item names.
Order payment
Display additional charges as "Bag fee"
Activate to avoid “Unaccounted payment” amounts in your Grubhub orders. Grubhub may send through an order’s paid total amount inclusive of additional charges that aren't able to be mapped to Deliverect. By default, we process items, discounts, taxes, and bag fees. Any additional charges can lead to "Unaccounted payment" amounts in the order.
Order behaviour
Use updated preparation time
Activate this setting to update the estimated order time shown to the customer after placing their order and to the Grubhub rider who collects it. Set the time in the Average preparation time POS setting.
Estimated time updates are displayed when viewing the order's Channel Status History.
When inactive, the estimated time is controlled via your Grubhub backoffice.
