Heartland: Configure a Section on Your Heartland POS

Are your orders receiving an error message stating "Unsuccessful API response - {"error":"BadRequest"}"? If so, a section in your menu may not be configured correctly. Follow the steps in this article to resolve it.

Step 1. Go to your Heartland POS: https://api.hrpos.heartland.us/


Step 2. Select Account Menu in the sidebar.


Step 3. Select Sections.


Step 4. Select the section that contains the items in the order.


Step 5. Select the menu groups for this section.
