DMA: Courier Updates

Once an order has been assigned a courier, updates are shown to give you the latest information.

Not all channels send courier updates. For those channels, only the pickup time is provided.

Update types

An order can receive the following updates during the delivery process:

  • Assigned

  • En route to pickup

  • Almost at pickup

  • Arrived at pickup

  • En route to dropoff

  • Almost at dropoff

  • Arrived at dropoff

  • Order delivered

  • Failed

For the app to provide all courier updates, reach out to your Deliverect account manager or our support team. Once activated, ensure that the app is updated to the latest version. Do note that the channels you use may not utilize all of the above types.

Notifications

By default, you are notified of a change of five minutes or more to the order pickup time. You can change the threshold in the Notifications section of the Settings page.

Print courier updates

To send courier updates to your printer, activate the Print rider updates toggle in the Receipt printing section of the settings page.

Please note: As the map is built to help prioritise upcoming deliveries, we only show those orders that have a pickup time within 20 minutes. Therefore a scheduled order might be seen in the orders page of Deliverect, or even in the Live Tile view, but won’t yet be visible on the map view or in app to the couriers.
