This article contains details about the latest version of the menu editor. All accounts will have access to this version soon. View this topic for the previous menu editor.

If you have multiple locations in your Deliverect account, you may not want users having access to menus of locations that they don't manage. To prevent this, follow the steps in this article.

Adding a location to a menu

Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and select Menus in the sidebar.

Step 2. Select the menu.

Step 3. Select the edit icon next to the menu's name.

Step 4. Scroll down and select the Menu edit restrictions dropdown. Choose the locations you want to set for the menu.

This field is not currently available to all customers. Reach out to our support team for details.

Choosing multiple locations does not create individual menus for each. Edits made for one of the allowed locations will affect all locations. To have individual menus per location, create or duplicate an existing menu, and then assign a single location.

Alternatively, you can use the customization feature to make edits to fields that only affect specific locations or channels. Read this article to learn about this feature.

Step 5. Select the Save button at the bottom of the page. Repeat this process for all of your menus.

Configure a user to have restrictions

By default, users have access to all menus, even if the steps above have been followed. To make a user follow the restrictions, a toggle needs to be activated in their user account.

Step 1. Go to Settings and then Users from the sidebar.

Step 2. Select the edit button for the user.

Step 3. Activate the RESTRICT USER MENU ACCESS toggle.

Step 4. If the user isn't already assigned the location, choose it from the SELECT LOCATIONS dropdown.

Step 5. Select the Save Edits button.
