Customize an Item for a Location or Channel

You can customize fields to make specific changes to locations or channels. This includes prices, taxes, visibility status, names, descriptions, and images. The steps below show making a price change, but all other supported item features can be amended the same way.

This feature replaces the fine-tuning functionality that was available in the previous iteration of the menu editor.

Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and select Menus in the sidebar.


Step 2. Select the menu that contains the item you want to customize.


Step 3. Select the item.


Step 4. Select the toggle icon and choose the Create option for the field you want to customize. Existing customizations are also selectable.


Step 5. Configure the custom field.

There are currently two versions of this page. All accounts will soon have access to the latest version.

Latest version

Enter a name and select the + Add rule button to filter on:

  • Location

  • Location group

  • Channel

  • Order type (currently only available for Deliveroo and DoorDash)

You can add a color to the custom field to make it easily identifiable in your menus.

To view the included stores, select Show the stores this field will apply to. Select the Save button to create the custom field.

Previous version

Enter a name (e.g. Click and Collect) and choose the stores to use. Selecting Filter stores will allow you to choose locations, channels, and channel links. To limit this change to one or multiple order types, select Show order types.

Select the Save button once ready.


Step 6. Enter the value you want to use.


Step 7. Repeat this process for any additional fields you want to edit for this item. Multiple customizations can be created for one field.

Once ready, select the Save changes button.
