The bulk edit functionality allows you to update the details of multiple products simultaneously.
This functionality is not yet currently available for all accounts.
Usage examples
Increase the price of all drinks by 10%
Update taxes of all products
Add or update the categories of products
Access the feature
Step 1. Select Products in the sidebar.
Step 2. Select the checkbox for multiple products and choose the Bulk edit button.
Step 3. You are now presented with a spreadsheet where you can make changes.
Making edits
The functionality is similar to other spreadsheet applications. This means that you can:
Select one or multiple values
Drag a cell to copy its value to other cells in a column
Type to make edits
Copy and paste values
Use mathematical operations (+, -, /, *) to dynamically update numerical fields
If desired, you can also copy values into a spreadsheet application, make changes in that application, and then paste those changes back into the bulk editor.
In this example, the price fields for multiple products have been selected. By entering "+1", the value of all prices will increase by £1.
Apply filters
Select the filter button to limit which products are present in the spreadsheet.
In this example, "burger" is entered into the Name field, restricting the spreadsheet to only products that have "burger" in their name.
Show or hide columns
Select the Columns button to adjust which fields are shown.
Display product fields
Created product fields can be shown by selecting the arrow button for the column.
You can then edit the values for that product field.
Undo changes
Select the arrow icon to reset the changes to a field.
Save changes
Select the Save button to confirm your changes. Don't forget to publish your menus to your channels for these changes to take effect.
