Lightspeed Restaurant L-Series: Configure Order Cancellations

While Lightspeed Restaurant L-Series does not offer native order cancellation support, you can track order cancellations in your POS.

Step 1. Select Products in the sidebar.


Step 2. Select Add Product.


Step 3. Complete the following fields with the values of your choice :

  • Name: e.g., Cancel

  • PLU: e.g., CANCEL

Select the Ok button .


Step 4. Select Modifiers in the sidebar.


Step 5. Select Add note.


Step 6. Enter a name (e.g., Cancel Note) and select Ok .


Step 7. Sync your products in Deliverect. Go to the Products page, find the product and note you created, and note their PLUs.


Step 8. Open the settings page for your location, go to Lightspeed Restaurant L Series POS settings, Global order settings, and then configure the the following settings :

  • Cancel item PLU: The PLU you set for the product.

  • Cancel note PLU: The PLU you set for the note.

  • Send cancel as negative order (optional): Activate to send canceled orders as a negative price to cancel out the value of the original order). If inactive, canceled orders are sent with a price of zero.

Select the Save button .
