Kiosk: Resolve Issues

Updated today

No menu is present on the kiosk

Check the counter tablet settings if no menu is activated on your kiosk. You can do this by accessing the counter tablet menu and verifying if the kitchen is marked as open in the settings. The menu may not be activated due to a deactivated setting.

Navigation is slow on the kiosk

Turn off the kiosk by unplugging it or using the button located behind the screen. Wait a few moments, then turn it back on. A restart can often resolve performance issues.

The kiosk doesn't turn on

Here are some solutions you can try:

  • Ensure all connections to the kiosk are properly plugged in. Unplug and reconnect the kiosk at the screen, transformer, and power outlet to ensure a solid connection.

  • Unplug it either at the power outlet or directly from the kiosk. Wait about 20 seconds before plugging it back in.

  • Plug the kiosk into another functional power outlet to check if the issue is with the previous outlet.

  • Test the power supply: If possible, use the power supply from another kiosk to see if the issue lies with the current power supply.

The touchscreen is not working correctly

Here are some solutions you can try:

  • Use a special screen-cleaning product to clean the kiosk's screen. Also, check that nothing is stuck on the screen that might interfere with the touchscreen functionality.

  • Try restarting the screen by following these steps:

    • Step 1. Press the button located on the back of the kiosk to turn it off.

    • Step 2. Unplug the kiosk from the power outlet or the connection at the back of the kiosk.

    • Step 3. Wait a few moments, then plug the kiosk back in and turn it on.

  • Dismount the kiosk from its stand to test it in another environment. This can help determine if the problem is with the kiosk itself or its installation.
