Manage Your Locations for Social Ordering

In this article, learn how to set up or change settings for a location.

Visit this page to learn more about Deliverect Social Ordering. If you are an existing Deliverect customer, you can request access by selecting Social Ordering in the sidebar and then selecting the Get social media ordering button .

Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect Social Ordering account at social-frontend.deliverect.com.


Step 2. In the sidebar, select Locations.


Step 3. Select the edit icon for the location you want to manage.


Step 4. Change the settings for the location.

Settings

Address

Specify the address and area for this location. Enter the name of your location at the top to automatically fill in the address.

Tax settings

Choose the tax rate and whether prices are tax-inclusive or exclusive.

Bag fee

Provide a value if you want to add a fee to delivery and pickup orders.

Delivery

Activate the toggle if delivery is available for this location.

Opening hours

Set when this location is open for business. Use the toggle to activate a day and the dropdowns to specify the opening and closing times.

Operation settings

  • Preparation (minutes): Set the default time needed for preparation.

  • Preparation + delivery (minutes): Set the default time needed for preparation and delivery.

Order scheduling

  • Accept ASAP orders: Activate if customers can place orders for immediate preparation.

  • Accept pre-orders: Activate if customers can place orders for a different day.

  • Accept same day pre-orders: Choose whether customers can choose a delivery time for later in the same day.

  • Minimum lead time: Set how early a pre-order can be delivered after being placed.

  • Max days in advance: Set how far in the future a customer can schedule a pre-order.

  • Slot length: Define how long time slots are when placing an order (e.g., setting "30 min", could show the customer 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm, 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, etc.).

Service charge

Set the service charge percentage and tax rate.

Delivery areas

Set your delivery areas to limit how far an order is deliverable.

Add a delivery area

Select the Add delivery areas button to choose between a polygon area or a radius area:

  • Polygon area: Create a shape over a map to specify where orders can be delivered.

  • Radius area: Provide the maximum delivery radius from your location.

Polygon area

Manipulate the polygon by dragging the corners. Addresses inside the polygon are eligible for delivery.

  • Area name: Enter a descriptive name for this area.

  • Min. basket value: Enter the minimum basket value of an order to qualify for delivery.

  • Delivery fee: Provide the delivery fee to add to orders within this radius.

  • Delivery fee tax rate (%): Specify the tax rate for delivery orders.

Radius area

  • Area name: Enter a descriptive name for this area.

  • Radius: Choose how far from your location that orders can be delivered.

  • Min. basket value: Enter the minimum basket value of an order to qualify for delivery.

  • Delivery fee: Provide the delivery fee to add to orders within this radius.

  • Delivery fee tax rate (%): Specify the tax rate for delivery orders.

Edit a delivery area

Select a delivery area to change its settings.

Delete a delivery area

Select the delete icon to remove a delivery area (you may need to scroll horizontally to the right to find it).

Pickup

Activate the toggle to allow pickup orders from this location.

Choose if eat-in orders are allowed for this location.

Set when this location is open for business. Use the toggle to activate a day and the dropdowns to specify the opening and closing times.

Tables

Allow your customers to easily order and pay by scanning a QR code tied to their table. You can create tables individually, in bulk, or by syncing tables from your POS (if supported).

Create in bulk

Enter each table on a separate line and then select the Create button.

Create table

Enter a name for a table, and select the Create button.

Download QR codes

Download the QR code for your tablets in various formats. Print them out to allow customers to easily place their orders.

Sync tables

Select the Yes button to import tables from your POS.

Not supported by all POS integrations.
