Create and Manage Discounts

Follow these steps to offer your customers a discount when placing an order on your social channels.

Visit this page to learn more about Deliverect Social Ordering. If you are an existing Deliverect customer, you can request access by selecting Social Ordering in the sidebar and then selecting the Get social media ordering button .

Create a discount

Step 1. Log in to Deliverect Social Ordering at social-frontend.deliverect.com.


Step 2. Hover over Marketing in the sidebar and choose Discounts.


Step 3. Select the Add a discount button.


Step 4. You can now enter details for the discount. Once finished, select the Save discount button.

Settings

Basic info

Start by entering a Discount name and a Discount code that people will use to apply it. Selecting the Generate button provides you with a random code.

Application

Choose how the discount is applied

  • Automatic: Automatically apply the discount upon checkout. Customers can remove the code if desired.

  • Manual: Display the discount on your menu. Customers can select it to use it.

  • Hidden code: Don't display the discount on your menu. Customers must manually enter the discount code.

Order type

Choose if customers can apply the discount on pickup, delivery, or order at table orders.

Applicable locations

Select whether the discount can be used on all locations or specific ones.

Discount type

The following types are available:

  • Percentage:

    • Amount: Enter the percentage amount to subtract from an order's total.

    • Minimum order value: If customers need to have a specific order value to use the discount, enter that value.

    • Maximum discount: To prevent orders from receiving a discount too large, set the maximum allowed discount.

  • Fixed value:

    • Amount: Enter the value to subtract from an order's total.

    • Minimum order value: If customers need to have a specific order value to use the discount, enter that value.

Customer segmentation

Choose to allow the discount for all customers or only new customers.

  • Number of uses per customer: Enter a number to set a redemption limit for each customer.

Availability

Set the start date and time for the discount, and choose if the discount expires on a specific date.

Provide the end date and time if the Expires on a specific date option is active.

Entering a number in the Total number of uses field sets a hard limit on how many times the discount is redeemable.

Manage a discount

Select the discount on the Discounts page to change its configuration.

Change the toggle to off to deactivate it.

Delete a discount

Find the discount on the Discounts page and select the delete icon. You may need to scroll the page horizontally to find it.

Share links

Select the link icon to copy links to your social platforms with the discount applied. You can provide these URLs to potential customers.
